의 성과를 담았습니다.

특히 김지훈 교수 연구실의 연구가 ICML 2026에 게재되었으며, 오지형 교수 연구실은 CVPR 2026 채택 논문 중 2편이 Top 3.6% Highlight로 선정되는 우수한

성과를 거두었습니다.
또한 ICASSP 2026 학회 발표, 비디오 이상 탐지 및 텍스트-이미지 기반 객체 검색 관련 특허 출원, 과학기술정보통신부·ETRI 지원 국가 연구용역사업,

두산에너빌리티와의 제조 AI 산학협력 등 AI, 멀티모달 지능, 오디오-비주얼 콘텐츠 검색, 4D Gaussian Splatting, 제조 AI 분야에서 활발한 연구 활동이

이어졌습니다.

중앙대학교 첨단영상대학원 공학전공은 첨단 영상기술과 AI를 기반으로 연구, 교육, 산업 협력을 연결하며 미래 AI 미디어 기술의 가능성을 지속적으로 확장해 나가고 있습니다. 많은 관심과 응원 부탁드립니다.


■ We are pleased to share the May 2026 highlights from the Engineering Track at
the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film, Chung-Ang University (GSAIM).
This month’s report features:

 1 paper accepted to a leading international conference
 1 newly awarded research project
 1 industry–academia collaboration
 1 award
 3 conference presentations
 3 domestic patent applications

Notably, a paper from Prof. Jihoon Kim’s lab was accepted to ICML 2026, while two papers from Prof. Jihyung Oh’s CMLab were selected as CVPR 2026 Highlights, placing them in the top 3.6%.

GSAIM also continued to demonstrate strong research momentum through ICASSP 2026 presentations, patent applications in video anomaly detection and text-image-based object retrieval, a national research project supported by MSIT and ETRI, and a manufacturing AI collaboration with Doosan Enerbility.
