Vibrations Matter: Art & Science of ListeningIn this artist talk, Victoria Vesna invites audiences into her ongoing exploration of listening as a bridge between art, science, and consciousness through a micro-to-macro lens. Drawing from decades of collaborations with scientists in plasma physics, neuroscience, and nanotechnology, she reveals how vibration connects all forms of matter—from microscopic organisms to cosmic dust. Through installations such as SUNFlower Plasma, Alien Star Dust, Noise Aquarium, Blue Morph, Octopus Brainstorming, and Bird Song Diamond, Vesna demonstrates how sound and resonance can dissolve the boundaries between species, disciplines, and scales of perception. Her work proposes listening as both a scientific and spiritual practice—an embodied act of empathy, care, and reconnection that attunes us to the vibratory web uniting all living systems.
